How To Process Raw Clay For Pottery

How To Process Raw Clay For Pottery
your plans say you use three sheets of plywood but counting it up you're using closer to 6 or 7, huge price jump
will this help my AC to keep up?
pressure treated wood in contact and near the soil, no thank you
I dug a whole a small bit bigger than the pot my blueberries were in. Mixed the native soil I dug out with some garden soil and stuck them in the ground, put a circle of rocks around and added some pine straw I raked up… they are loving their new home
By the way you do not need to be this fancy while planting yes it help but i usually just dig a hole plant fertilise and let water run on top for 5 min
Would this method work for a wicking bed garden?
Damn guy do you have any idea how dangerous it is to be working with rail road ties teated with creosote. You used no glives, then you start up a chain saw without any protection. No safety glasses no long sleeves, no gloves, and no mask. I worked for a. Environmental company i have seen what creosote does to your skin when it gets on it, I've seen people go to the hospital from skin contact from the burns. So please in the future you can make videos but please take safety into account.
No se escuchó el sonido.
Awesome idea! As I am getting older, but still gardening, I am finding it hard to dig potatoes. Definitely giving this a try. Cheers.
Yeah I bought one too and I'll tell you what it looks like it does a real good job thank you for the video
Could I use galvanized chicken wire on the front sides?
for every different size of tube, hanging point should be different for better resonation of sound.
looks good, I think I would of prefered to just take it all apart and rebuild it though. I built a brick letterbox for my parents about 14 years ago and its never been hit by anyone we generally have a naturestrip and sidewalk between the road and property in australia so unless someones really doing something stupid its not near the road atleast
Imagine searching for DIY desks but everything you find is DIY tabletops
You might want to verify there's no stud before cutting with your jigsaw
Yes that’s true, thankfully I could see the nails where the sitting was nailed to the studs and I knew I wasn’t going to hit anything.
I been using an electric chain saw its vines and fallen trees and god knows what else its literally a jungle but I been working on it over a year its a very slow process . I wish I had one of those big machines that clears overgrown land it would be done in no time . But there is one positive I am getting exercise doing it .
Difinatly thinking of doing something similar and making the swing seats myself
I love those rocks at the bottom! Planning on putting chairs in my area. What are they called?
What a great property you are building!
Nice video. Just some technical flaws in your construction.
Great job and beautiful garden! Wish I had space like this to garden.
Looks really good! You made it look easy, lets hope it is for me too. Ive got to redo the counter and cabinets as well so im gonna head on over to your butcher block countertop install and check it out. Thank you.
Hi, I really like what you have done here. I am about to build my own raised bed using roofing sheets and wood. I was thinking about sealing the corners with flashing tape. Is this the same as you used to seal the corners and is it food safe as I will be growing veg in mine? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Have fun, Mark : )
You are AWESOME....Bud....This is a real challenge for old homes; especially with asbestos concerns and sweltering heat !!! A lot of people took out a lot of walls n the 1970s and 80s, which should not have been removed. Some old houses have gone through more than one previous reno, and you are often 'GUESSING' at what they used to fasten things.
If you want a youtube medal, you can make it out of wood.
Wow, for no trees over your roof, you had to replace a lot of decking. Why?
Thank you for sharing. I have a planters box and my strawberries and cucumbers are growing like crazy.
Cap…striker…and sail Love wind chimes. We rebuild all the time but have only made one large one from made parts. It was quite large and sounded great.
Did the top beam attach to anything in the ceiling?
I've known of houses that had three layers of shingles on the roof. Worked fine.
What made you choose this type of insulation vs another? Do you recommend for an attic with no insulation to start with cellulose then add this roll on insulation? You added two layers of insulation? Does that make it 60 value? Sorry I'm very new to all this
What respirator do you recommend? Brand/type/etc?
Did you protect the metal from rusting?
Why are you not climbing underneath to dig down to put in 2 x 6 foundation boards again? haha. thanks - fascinating how you installed the foundation posts floating attached and filled in the concrete. I heard about this - some inspector said this was the preferred method for normal building and that claim got tons of backlash in the comments section. Hilarious. Everyone says normally you build bottom up, of course!!
Do you have video for porch swing?
Thank you for the instruction, do you have any estimate of cost
Nice work man! 👍 I need to get after it and do this to my attic.
The mobile chicken coop is best ...they can eat always fresh grass
ok so how do you get the fish smell out? did vinegar help w smell?
Yeah, I believe the vinegar did help. But each time I rinsed it and let it separate the smell got better. You can also let the clay dry out completely and crush it into a powder and then re-hydrate it and that should also get rid of some of the smell.
How did you measure and cut the legs and what exactly did youndonwith the hand tools. Great idea and executed all, but as far as diy, I need to know how you measured and cut the legs and the extra hand work you performed as well,.please and thank you
how did you choose the length ? and why did you cut the valve instead of unscrewing it ?
My 3-year-old nephew has every toy imaginable but the one thing he loves most is a 3-foot-tall pile of dirt in the backyard. The dirt was put there to level out the yard but he enjoys the pile of dirt so much we decided to leave it alone and let him play until he outgrows it. When he goes outside to play, he runs straight to that pile of dirt, every time, lol.
I use half a jug per gallon works better,
Pa Brough me Back Some Agent Orange from Vietnam works the Best.
I'm planning on installing a butcher block counter like this one, and I'm trying to determine the best way to make the cut out for the sink. Currently I don't own any Forstner bits, but I'd like to pick one up to cut the corners out of the counter for the sink like you did. What's the easiest way to determine what size Forstner bit I need to ensure the corners of the countertop conform to the corners of the sink?
Thank you so much, these are perfect! God bless
You have quite the little garden helper pitching in to help fill those beds Awesome to see a daughter getting involved with her dad's project!
You should have tested the soaper. After 1 year of in house storage we could not get the soap to spray out. We checked the suction tube and all appeared good. STILL no soap. I am retiring this machine. It is garbage after 1 or 2 deck washes. Garbage. Cheaper is not better. Any questions lemme know
That’s too bad! I’m sorry to hear that. My soap is still working however I believe if you leave soap in it, it may cause it to clog. I had to rinse mine out this year and it started working again.
Found your video to be quite helpful. Your shop floor looks great!
Ur bathroom already looks gorgeous, very nice shower.
Job well done!
